Our well established conference venue is a preferred choice due to our competitive conference packages, which has contributed to our success.
We offer four conference package options varing in price, from our competitive Budget Package to Executive Conference Package.
Our Conference Centre offers four conference venues which have recently undergone a refined facelift. Each conference venue is equipped with a LCD / Plasma TV, electronic screen, flipchart, whiteboard and a home entertainment theatre system including DVD Player.
Conference Centre Facility Special
- We will not charge for the facilitators conference package (minimum of 10 persons to be booked)
- We will offer complimentary accommodation for the facilitator for his stay (standard room, minimum of 5 persons to be staying at hotel for conference)
- Complimentary Data Projector included in the Executive Package
- Please note that prices are available upon request
Budget Conference Package
This package includes:
- Tea & coffee on arrival.
- Tea & coffee midmorning.
- Light buffet lunch (included in conference package, rate quoted above, copy of menu attached) served in the Highlander Restaurant, which overlooks the Nahoon River - (not a private venue).
- Tea & coffee mid-afternoon.
- Conference tables provided with water, cordial and mints
Standard Conference Package: (No Venue Hire)
This package includes:
- Tea / coffee / fruit juice on arrival
- Tea / coffee / fruit juice / pastry midmorning
- Light buffet lunch (included in conference package, rate quoted above, copy of menu attached) served in the Highlander Restaurant, which overlooks the Nahoon River (not a private venue)
- Tea / coffee / fruit juice / biscuit mid-afternoon
The above package includes the following (no additional charge):
- The venue hire fee.
- Use of our standard conference equipment, which includes: TV, video machine, overhead projector, screen, 1x flipchart, whiteboard, pens.
- Note pad and pen provided on first day of conference.
- Conference tables are set with water, cordial and mints.
Superior Conference Package: (No Venue Hire)
This package includes:
- Tea / coffee / fruit juice on arrival
- Tea / coffee / fruit juice / chocolate croissants, selection of mini pastries: Cinnamon & apple, Danish, cashew nut tarts, puff pastry filled with apricot jam, mini quiche, fruit kebabs.
- Light buffet Lunch (included in conference package, rate quoted above, copy of menu attached) served in the Highlander Restaurant which overlooks the Nahoon River (not a private venue)
- Tea / coffee / fruit juice / biscuit mid-afternoon
The above package includes the following (no additional charge):
- The venue hire fee.

- Tea / coffee / fruit juice / selection of biltong & dry wors, variety of canapés: smoked salmon & cottage cheese topped with capers, roast beef topped with traditional mustard & gherkin, finely grated cheddar cheese, sliced onion & cherry tomatoes
The above package includes the following (no additional charge):
- The venue hire fee.
- Use of our standard conference equipment, which includes: TV, video machine, overhead projector, screen, 1x flipchart, whiteboard, pens.
- Note pad and pen provided on first day of conference.
- Conference tables are set with water, cordial and mints.
Conference packages above, exclude beverages with meals, telephone calls, Photostatting and any other service not mentioned above.

Cool drinks during lunch and / or dinner: budget R15-00 per person per cool drink per meal.

DINNER
Besides our midweek buffet spreads offered to conference groups, we also offer themed dinner or braais which include African drummers, flame dancers as entertainment at an additional cost.
Please budget on R140-00 per person for a three-course dinner including gratuity, excluding all beverages.
We can also offer a braai, for groups staying over, from approximately R130-00 per person, excluding all beverages
TEAM BUILDING
Blue Lagoon Hotel, in association with an Eco Adventure company, fosters positive working working relationships through team building activities.
Due to Blue Lagoon Hotel being situated on the banks of the Nahoon river and nestled in sub tropical foliage. Our conference facilities and location makes the perfect setting and environment for Team Building Activities. Blue Lagoon Hotel and facilities lead onto the beach where the warm Indian Ocean meets the Nahoon River………
CANCELLATIONS
You agree to settle any penalties or cancellation fees regarding food,
beverages and accommodation, which may be levied as a result of total
cancellation, or a substantial reduction in numbers.
50 % Deposit required 7 days after confirmation.
In the event of cancellation, the following non refundable portion would apply:
3 months - 10 % of the deposit will be charged to the client
2 months - 20 % of the deposit will be charged to the client
1 month - 50 % of the deposit will be charged to the client
7 days or less - 100 % of the deposit will be charged to the client
** Full prepayment is required prior to the conference date. We do not
accept Government Orders. We do accept Travel Agent Vouchers.
The above conference packages are valid until 31 December 2010.
RESERVATIONS
Blue Lagoon will cater and charge according to final numbers confirmed 48 hours prior to function.
